Great book! Love this author. This was a quick read

Rating: ⭐️⭐️ (2/5 ⭐️'s)
This book wasn't too good. It was bit repetitive with words and phrases like "tethered" and "tilted his/her head." There were too many point of views—two or three would have been fine. Most of the characters were unlikable, and the only bearable ones were the sheriff and his girlfriend, Pam. Sarah always seemed perfect, and the ending was predictable. Her husband cheated like the last one did. Hope the next book is better.

Finished reading this over the weekend and all I can say is pheww

I read Marriage when it was released, I remember it being campy & chaotic & having to suspend disbelief but thinking it was fun. In the meantime I‘ve read a couple others by Rose & enjoyed them. I wish I liked this more. I found it pretty predictable. I also thought the POVs lacked a distinctive voice.

Followed up on The Perfect Marriage by immediately reading this one. I enjoyed this one more. I was trying to predict the twists Rose was going to throw at us based on the characters‘ actions in the first book.

So Sarah is back. She is now married to Bob, and they have a daughter. Things were going well until Bob cheated, and her first husband's guilt was questioned. Now, all hell is about to break loose again.

I just read The Perfect Marriage and The Perfect Divorce back to back and I just have to give Jeneva Rose all of the 🌟! Another psychotic and twisty read with a killer FMC. So fun and page-turning! 🤯

4 Stars • In The Perfect Divorce by Jeneva Rose, Sarah Morgan, now married to Bob with a daughter, faces chaos when Bob‘s affair sparks a divorce. New DNA evidence reopens her ex-husband Adam‘s murder case, and the woman Bob slept with vanishes. Sarah battles suspicion and secrets in a twisty, fast-paced thriller, showcasing her cunning as past and present collide. I hope there will be a third episode in this series.

So…the story is kind of far-fetched. Murders, kidnappings, double-crossings, lots of bad people. I just don‘t get what makes a book like this so popular. It was ok, but so much going on at the end I could hardly keep it straight. A fast easy read tho.

1. Definitely laying down. I like to stretch out and get comfy.
2. The Perfect Divorce, a beach read from the first page. Old murder, new missing woman, lawyer vs soon to be ex husband lawyer…the usual. This book is #1 on the New York Times best seller list?

Both of these get all the stars!!
Finished 2 books in 1 weekend😁
The Perfect Divorce is the 2nd in the series but to me it was just as good as the first!!
Even in a short story, McFadden will still have a twist you don‘t see coming!! Well done👍🏼
