pickLouisa assumed she had the experience and education to guide her guests to other side of their broken hearts. In the process she realizes her experience is for naught because her ex left her when neither were in love. That‘s not a spoiler but it‘s a meaningful point made.
so-soIt‘s alright, very classic no-spice-beyond-the-bare-minimum contemporary romance, but really nothing too exciting. The cast is a bit too large, perhaps, and Joss was a super confusing character for me until the denouement.
pickDon't let the cute cover fool you - this romance is not light and fluffy.

pickI read this the day I received it from #botm. That doesn‘t happen very often.
Louisa finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her and they break up. She tells him she just wants their house. It‘s in Colorado. She loves the house and has the idea of making it into a B&B. The house is owned by Henry who is reluctant at first but ends up helping out a lot.
There is a lot of grief in this book and how to deal with loss.
Love story in a big house in the mountains which transforms into a hotel for the heartbroken run by Louisa, who faced recent heartbreak herself. Actually a coming-of-age scenario for Louisa, bc she‘s put her own emotional growth on hold since college. The sex scenes were clunky and the “sweet talk” between lovers was uninspiring; I was happy for a hopeful ending.
