Food themed books from my bookshelf #riotgrams
"There are choices to be made - so it is up to us to keep on top of things in the food world."
FINALLY. Took me a while to read this. Love the concept, I'm obsessed with nutrition and food science & history, so this was cool in theory; I personally think it's more interesting to learn about the food industry process on shows like Unwrapped or How It's Made, because it's much easier to understand with the visual aid. Reading about it wasn't engaging enough bcz I didn't know what I was supposed to be picturing. #thatsjustmetho
Happy #readathon all my darling readers!! Was too busy today so I'm not participating, but with you in vibes and I love seeing your posts 💞
Picked this back up today after a few weeks off, am at chapter 8 and have realized I don't really care about twinkies or how they're made after all. Kind of bummed because of the cool info here, but it's always tied back to the Twinkie and I'm kind of speeding through it. Blah. #whyhavetwinkies #wheninstead #youcouldhave #LITTLEDEBBIECOSMICBROWNIES #thebest #thegreatest #fuckyotwinkies
Began reading today, and you know what just hit me? I've never actually had a Twinkie before. And if this book is really as in-depth as it claims to be, there's a fair chance I won't ever want to 😂
#Day14 #SeptemberPhotoChallenge #nonfictionlove In addition to a massive cookbook collection, most of the non-fiction books on my shelves are food related: health & nutrition, food policy, ingredients, chef and foodie memoirs, etc. Here are some of them. Sorry for the uninspiring and hard-to-see-titles photo, I'm having the dizzies today & this is the best I could muster up. 😬 Are there any you recognize? #somethingforsept
