Try a little dragon tenderness. I am Ghleanna the Decimator. I am a warrior. A soldier. I know no fear. No pain. No mercy. I do, however, know acute embarrassment! How could I not after getting dumped by a bastard dragon in front of my own troops? So I tuck tail and return to my cave, drowning my sorrows in aleas is my familys way. But instead of leaving me to my misery, Ive been summoned to the Dragon Queens court. As if my life wasnt pathetic enough, Her Majesty now has me escorting the highborn Bram the Merciful through dangerous territoriesnot exactly the best use of my military training. And just so he can negotiate with enemy dragons instead of battling them? Honestly, what has my world come to? Then againBram is quite easy on the eyes. And the perfect distraction for what ails me. Perhaps Im looking at all this the wrong way. Maybe there is a place for a little mercy in my life Previously published in Supernatural.

So, yeah, I'm at the ER. I stepped on a nail! What fun! Waiting for a tetanus shot, now. The doctor said that the nail may have shoved some of the sole of my shoe into my foot but the only way to tell is if it gets infected. I'm feeling super confident about my medical care right now. Oh, And if my foot does get infected, they're gonna cut a hole in the bottom of my heel! Such joy!

I guess I'll read about sexy dragons while I wait for my shot!

Centique Oh you poor thing. Fingers crossed it doesn't get infected! We've been at the A&E/ortho clinic a lot lately with my 6yo who broke his arm so much sympathy about all the waiting 💕 8y
