so-soYesterday was a massive day that ended with a tequila courtesy of Stew & a dunk at my ocean 🛀 out front for the 1st time this spring. It‘s the small things. This was last month‘s #authorofthemonth that I picked to read. I can‘t say, a 3rd of the way through, that I‘d read 1 of hers again. A surprising plot twist has just happened so I‘ll persevere like I always do. The 💦 was 🥶 but refreshing after my arvo walk & housework that morning.
I got home in time last Sunday for a walk up the hill in the gorgeous arvo sunny weather and you wouldn‘t believe it but I got these Sydney Writer‘s Festival authors at the Little Free Library and one for a future #authorofthemonth @Soubhiville I‘ve already read and disposed of the magazine #MonthlyMagazineBlitz Go me!

so-soTold in a transcript format, looking back at a chart-topping rock band from the 1970s from the POVs of the band members, producer, agent, studio head, and others close to them.
I‘m kind of on the fence if I liked it or not. The beginning was interesting, the middle made me question if I even liked any of the characters, the ending brought it back around. I did like the format, made it a fast read.
pickFree from audible and Amazon kindle prime reading. A story written in the epistolary style. A woman finds letters written to her husband from his lover. She then reaches out to the lover‘s husband. An excellent read. It felt fully fleshed out and complete despite it‘s very short length. The ending was surprising and satisfying. My 2nd success this year with short stories. I see more in my future!
