Little's stuff always gets weird, but never in interesting way.
8/14/2023: This is my first workplace horror and I have thoughts. Review coming soon, but I'd like to say this now: This book felt like I worked there and those consultants were on something else. I was ready to quit and wondered why most characters didn't (lol).
8/19/2023: It‘s been a couple days since I‘ve finished this book and I‘m still not sure what to say about it. I guess what I said before is all.
Features a family who move into a haunted house and are then terrorised. Excellent stuff. Low key for a bit, but this was good.

95/150 This is only the third book I've read by Little, but I have the same problem with it as the previous two books. Little is great at building tension, building the dread that something horrible is coming, filling the pages with creepy and grotesque images. However, his endings are always so easy, the monstrous evil that's going to destroy everyone is defeated so simply, almost effortlessly, that you have to wonder how big a threat ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Not very creepy or scary, unnecessary sexualised hauntings, meh ending.
