pick3 ⭐ This book is long. It is about a grandpa bear and a cub. The cub sees the postcard that‘s always been on his grandfather ‘s fridge and ask him about it. And they decide they are going to train and get ready to go to Faraway Valley. Once they finally find faraway valley, grandpa decides to stay because the place is beautiful and he wants to help take care of it. This book is overly long for no reason.
pickPicture books are not for kids! Keeping in mind that 4th graders didn't like being called children lately...
Older students might relate to Bijan's experiences. Khorram offers 2 pages to talk about analogies. In the end Bijan apologizes which allows everyone to move on, which may be the purpose of forgiveness.

This book would be an excellent addition to a classroom library. However, I would not use it in a classroom lesson because I would be concerned that it would confuse students, especially newer readers about which way we were supposed to read books from.
so-so3 ⭐ This is about someone who takes their cat for a walk. And the second day the cat takes the human for the walk. The coloring and the way the story is laid out makes the reader feel hollow. It‘s almost like this is fine or that you‘re not old enough to understand. While reading this book, I feel like part of Mr. Bigg‘s funeral (and just like that) where it had to be in the ultimate stylish place. That was a big white void.
pick4 ⭐ Winter is setting and all of badger‘s friends have gone to their winter naps. Badger checks in on everyone, but no luck finding someone who will play. So, badger makes new friends. This story is simple and to the point, but the illustrations are unique in a classic way that can stand the test of time. They‘re striking but make you want to curl up with a soft blanket on a cold winter night and read more.
