Pure - Julianna Baggott

This book deserves a 4 out of 5 ⭐ due to world building!

I just love this world, it is very well constructed.

I do believe tho there could have been more character development throughout the book

However it was still very entertaining and fun and amazingly written so, i rate this a 4 out of 5 ⭐

I had a really hard time reading this, until page 350 or so, where it finally hooked me. I love how the book ended. I wish there was more of Calliope, and less back story... But in the end, I do recommend. This book has brought much soul searching for me. That is the perfect reason to recommend, regardless of how long it took me to read. #litsyAtoZ #bookE @BookishMarginalia

zsuzsanna_reads I need to reread this! 8y
Megabooks Agreed about the slow start! 8y
lynneamch I was hooked from the first line. I think I liked much of the Detroit/Grosse Pointe parts because I grew up nearby. There was a line about the grandfather's saxophone playing that touched my heart. I need to read it again 8y
RadicalReader @Daisydo I understand how you feel where with books they are so much better when they have less back story and more of the " here and now" 8y
