I love Karen Kingsbury but I honestly think I‘m more excited about this gorgeous pic I took than I am starting the book 🤣

Taxpayers will always be forced to fund programs they disagree with. Taxes fund wars, jails, bailouts for the rich, stadiums and sports arenas and all sorts of programs many oppose. Yet somehow a moral objection by a minority of Americans to the legal act of terminating a pregnancy has become an issue so sacrosanct that abortions has [sic] been removed line by line from the entire US tax code. That‘s not a reasonable moral objection, that‘s 👇🏻
I was super skeptical of the premise of this book, but I got over it so quickly after starting it. It‘s a really well crafted fantasy - gruesome and violent, raw and emotional. The themes of motherhood and sacrifice run throughout the book. I‘m looking forward to more from Sunyi Dean.
Such a cleverly written story with realistic characters and the perfect level of suspense
Eve is the only surviving member of her family after a serial killers attack. She decides to write a book about her and other victims experiences with the killer who has never been caught. The perpetrator starts to read her book and gets angrier page by page. It‘s written like a book within a book, diving into the psyche of a killer

I never really understand these location markers for kindle titles 😂 but this is another of my #netgalley titles I started a few days ago. Didn't get very far but def plan to finish. This is my oldest #AugustArc title 😱 it's only the first chapter but there are many convenient things happening #lgbtq #gay #queer @Clwojick

4 of the top horror writers meet up for an interview at Kill Creek. When they leave they are plagued by what they witnessed. But nothing compares to what finally surfaces.
Let‘s turn these kids into readers, shall we? 🤓🙌📝📚#teachersoflitsy
I‘ve got more than a couple books to catch up my reviews, but I really liked Malice! I love supporting women‘s wrongs, and honestly: good for Alyce. I also love a good sapphic reimagining of beloved fairytales, so for any fans of the Lunar Chronicles who wished it was just a little more gay, here you go.
