Finished The Rose Field and really enjoyed it - lots of unanswered questions for me though. At least another 3 books worth.

Just started Season. A football related book, in a footie mad household it has become apparent there are no footie related bookmarks. What a travesty. Having to use one which says overthrow the government 😉

Started the week off with the chunkster from Joe Hill- loved it ♥️
Little departure via a murder mystery in Liverpool which I enjoyed. Set in the 1970s when you were still putting 2p‘s in public phones!
Onto the next chunkster with The Rose Field! About 100 pages in and just remembering all the characters and back story.

Two Nights- my daughter went to Lisbon and brought me a book mark with Lisbon on, so I had to read a book set in Lisbon. An ok thriller.

A really good week of reading. Got three books completed (middle row). Finished Sunstruck and although I have minor niggles with it, a great debut and would read more by the author.
Chapter One- well written psychological thriller. I did guess what was going on half way through.
Let me Go Mad in my Own Way- wonderful dysfunctional Irish family read. The horse is important on the cover.

Ripeness was brilliant and maybe my favourite Moss.
Read 2 in the T.M.Payne series- enjoying this series a lot but am up to date now.
Started Death of the Author and enjoying a lot so far.

A Fatal Silence was a good one in this series.
Sleep was an impressive debut.
Half way through Never Flinch. I do enjoy the Holly books but I hope at some point he‘s got another scary AF horror left to give us.

Senseless was a good thriller.
Small Rain was a great read.
Savage, Noble Death was recommended in The Guardian crime reads but it just didn‘t do it for me. Just a bit meh.

I‘m happy with that. It‘s been a busy week so midweek reading was minimal, but I managed to get some done on Good Friday and Saturday.

Finished: really didn‘t like The Golden Spruce and how the author took way too long to set up the story, but I really liked the stuff about the person who allegedly chopped this specific tree down. Enjoyed High Society and The Sky is Falling much more; reviews are forthcoming.

Finished: Took most of the week to complete Book of Negroes and completed Dinosaurs Before Dark in one sitting.

Colored Television was good on audio. I said “Oh, Jane!” numerous times. I‘m glad I stuck it out.

The Lost Passenger was enjoyable. Ultimately an immigrant story set in NYC. It has a lighter tone than most I‘ve read with this time and setting.

The Bell Jar was hard. After sitting on my shelf for years, I‘m grateful to finally have read it. #HashtagBrigade
