The Sport of Kings is really supposed to be about racism & wealth when a Black man goes to work for a horse stable trying to breed great race horses in Kentucky. Sudden Death involves a tennis match between Caravaggio & de Quevedo with a ball of Anne Boleyn's hair? WTF? Whatever, I'm curious. Play ball! 🏇🎾

My interest in sports is limited to the Olympics. Every 4th summer or winter, I become a sports fan, glued to the TV watching all the different events, getting teary as I see athletes achieve lifelong dreams. And the second the Closing Ceremony ends, I go back to not caring about sports at all. So I only have one book that is kind of about sports. #booksandsports #augustphotochallenge #augustofpages
