I ended up looking for the lyrics online & happened to see this book in my tbr mountain & thought "Perfect!" Not just the part about getting high, which admittedly she did. A lot. It's the line "A dreamer dreams, she never dies." I hope you and your mother are up there giving them hell.?❤️

You guys, listen. These #90sinJuly titles are going way over my head. What does #ChampagneSupernova even mean? How does everyone know the meanings of all these random songs?!

Who doesn't need 101 champagne cocktails?! 🥂I got this book as a prize years ago & would have made a recipe for the pic but I just walked in the door AND I need to restock the champagne. 🍾🍾🍾If you were wondering, both the Guava Bellini & the Jasmine-Peach Bellini are quite nice. 🍾🥂📚👍

#champagnesupernova is my daughter, who is starting at the University of Urbana-CHAMPAIGN (see what I did there 😊) this fall in physics, with the goal of becoming an astrophysicist!

I think everyone has their own interpretation of #ChampagneSupernova but when I hear it, I think grunge, sex, parties and drugs. I don't know why....but it's what I always imagine. Time to give a shout out to the queen of all these things. Crazy ol' Courtney Love.

I love #controversial books and #bannedbooks, so when my university asked me to be part of their poster campaign I was all about it. I loved being a super hero for books! My favorite from the list of banned books is Gatsby, and no one popped bottles for a #champagnesupernova like Gatsby (or the Fitzgeralds for that matter). #jubilantjuly #90sinjuly

The song, #ChampagneSupernova makes me think about teenagers with problems. Teenagers living hard lives. Teenagers fighting battles that are hard to understand.

In some of these books, the teenagers overcome their battles, and in some of them, they don't. It's hard, but important reading.
