Took an unintentional break…. My mental health has not been good and I‘m still adjusting to my new job so I just haven‘t been reading.
Currently I‘m try very slowly to finish Hour of the Witch by Chris Bohjalian and Cleopatra by Stacy Schiff.
Things will get better I know and maybe getting back to posting will help.

so-soI liked this one alright, it was my pick for our mystery book club. Most the ones who read it seemed to enjoy it. Only one hated it lol We had almost ten people I‘m so excited. I was so worried it would crash and burn. The one under it is my pick for next month too which I also have on audio. Can you guess what it is?

panI do like the author's writing but I'm having a hard time with the main character, Cassie Bowden. She is a flight attendant with an bad alcohol problem who blacks out and goes to bed with a man she just met on the plane. How stupid is that? She wakes up next morning and the man is dead next to her. She has no idea what happened to him. Book started good but then slowed down. Ending was unbelievable and rushed. Cannot recommend this one!
