Continuing my countdown of my books, from the 1st to the 25th, THE JACKAL‘S MISTRESS. Today, it‘s my second novel, a 1991 ghost story inspired by the “noose” my wife and I found in the attic of the old Vermont Victorian we had just bought as almost newlyweds.

Today THE PRINCESS OF LAS VEGAS paperback went on sale, and I visited two of my favorite Vermont bookstores: the Barnes and Noble in South Burlington and Phoenix Books in Burlington. Sebastian Ryder and Renee Reiner both wear a tiara WAY better than I do. Bookstores rock; booksellers rule. (Also, don‘t you love new paperback cover?)
