We live just outside of Nashville, where there is a yearly display called ICE! at the Opryland Hotel. 2 million pounds of ice are transformed into a walk-through Christmas story; this year's was Rudolph. Breathtaking! @RealLifeReading

Wanted to read something apt for this Yuletide season, so, revisiting this after many years. 🎄⛄️📕📗 This is a lovely Puffin Chalk edition illustrated by Mary Kate McDevitt, whose colourful chalk designs echo the whimsy of childhood.

#seasonsreadings2016 #day22 #christmassyreads The book that I listen to every year is this one.It is the most strange,absurd,ridiculous Xmas story you will ever read.I recommend listening to the audiobook, read by Tony Roberts.He's a newsreader by trade & the juxtaposition of his straightlaced newsman voice with the crazy antics he's reading is just too perfect.Just be wary of listening to this in public,giggling to yourself can be misconstrued!
