Wolverine is always entertaining. This book does not disappoint. My only complaint is the android designed to look like a female child with an Elmer Fudd lisp (Wogan, I‘m sooo scawed!). She is incredibly annoying. Otherwise, this is a treat!

I thought I'd reread this since I liked the *idea* of Cassandra Cain. I feel her Batgirl design is unsexualised and batlike in a pretty neat way, but I don't love a lot of the art in this one, and it's hard to fully follow without context.
Donatello, after meeting the most evil-looking mad scientist ever, "Let's be friends!"
A beautiful reminder of why our pets are the most devoted, loving and treasured members of our family.

I really enjoyed this series, more so than a lot of older comics I've read recently. Batman is settling into his role in Gotham when a villain known as the Reaper starts to terrorize the city. A vigilante from the past, the Reaper's return rattles Batman, as he is a violent, murderous reflection of our dark knight. Batman has to reconcile with his own self-imposed limits while also confronting Joe Chill in a fascinating side story.
A book so acidly cynical that your fingers smoke from flipping the pages. Can't put it down, tho.
I don't know what Rick Remender was going through when he wrote this, but he seems to be dealing with a lot of regret about being a workaholic and a bad dad. It's rare to read a comic that so endlessly crucifies its protagonist.
It‘s time again for #BookishMonopoly! I rolled an eight and landed on “GO…to the Library!” Yay! So off I went to this giant Friends of the Library bookstore at the Georgia Cole Library in Carlsbad, CA. There I found my read for May: a special tribute to Farley, the lovable sheep dog from one of my favorite comic strips: “For Better or For Worse” by Canadian cartoonist Lynn Johnston.
