I‘m not sure what deal German author Kerstin Gier has made to always have these gorgeous covers. With this edition, the pages are sprayed in a warm blue and it all looks very mysterious.

It‘s a pet peeve of mine when sequels or books from the same author don‘t look similar to the other books of the series. I didn‘t want to wait for the paperback of Harrow The Ninth, so I got the heavy hardcover. My other books by K. Hannah are small, and this one is big 😅. I know I‘m just being ridiculous.

I enjoyed about 80% of this book. It‘s a good companion piece to Alias Grace by M. Atwood. I still don‘t know what really happened. I am though interested in the authors future projects.
