I can't wait to do this again for the next Readathon! ❤️❤️❤️ Now, back to my current read, which is the tagged book.

I didn't like this as much as volume 1, but I'm really enjoying the series overall. Jessica Jones is a relatable badass, and I really enjoy her personality.

callielafleur At 136 pages, this adds $34 to my #ENDTHEBACKLOG donation! 6y

The Runner | Cynthia Voigt

Pickpick

A well-written book about a know-it-all teenager in 1967 Maryland. Lots of things covered here- integration, Vietnam, and poverty, to name a few. Bullet is not the most likeable main character, but seeing his beliefs and attitude change over the course of the story really show what a gifted writer Cynthia Voigt is. I'm happy I reread this for #booked2018 and #deweysreadathon.

Cinfhen Yay 😁 a double win🎉🎉 6y
callielafleur This adds 281 pages to my reading total, which is another $70.25 to #endthebacklog! 😁 6y
Blaire I loved her books as a preteen. Hadn‘t heard of this one. Dicey‘s song is a favorite. 6y

Tomorrow I will be participating in the @DeweysReadathon. This is my fourth time participating, and this time around I've decided to make it a little more meaningful to me.

So, for every page I read, I will donate $0.25 to #ENDTHEBACKLOG. You can read more about the amazing work they are doing at www.endthebacklog.org. I definitely won't be reading for the full 24 hours, but this might push me to just read another page when the going gets tough!

MaureenMc Awesome!! 6y
