#feistyfeb #fanfichomage AND #historicalheroines... It counts, right? 😂 Okay, maybe not, but I'm exhausted, y'all. We've been renovating an old storage room into a playroom for the little one, and it's been a lot of manual labor. We finally finished tonight and I'm so relieved! It's such a warm and cozy room with great natural lighting, so expect pictures of my new reading spot. ☺

Letters to Sherlock Holmes | Richard Lancelyn Green

My physical collection is at my parents' house but these are a few of the Sherlock Holmes #fanfichomage books that I own, some dreadful, some wonderful. The tagged book is a lovely collection of letters written to the Great Detective from 1890s to 1980s. After 1932 many were received by the Abbey National branch at 219-229 Baker Street where a full-time secretary was once employed to reply to them! 💜💜 #sherlocked

JazzFeathers That is ao cool! Never known Sherlock received mail 😀 7y

A couple of Jane Austen's inspired tales/re-imaginings. Aren't the covers pretty? #feistyfeb #fanfic #homage #fanfichomage @RealLifeReading

#fanfichomage #feistyfeb Whilst not strictly speaking fiction (a lot of her work is non-fiction) I am a big fan of Helen Garner and pay homage to her prolific, beautiful writing.

Joanne1 One of my favourites too. 7y

julesG Would you recommend Anthony Read's books for an 11yr Sherlock fan? We have read Andrew Lane so far. 7y

Daughter had to save the day because I thought the topic meant something else entirely. She spends a lot of time writing fanfic. So she recommended this book for #fanfic for #feistyfeb #fanfichomage.

#FeistyFeb The first thing that came to mind for #FanficHomage is anything by Gregory Maguire. Especially this series. I read Wicked and enjoyed it! Would you recommend the other ones?

ReadosaurusText Of all the books of his I've read, Wicked was far and away the best! (edited) 7y
twohectobooks I agree Wicked was the best. A Lion Among Men was soooo boring and Out of Oz and Son of a Witch each have their good and bad points. 7y
rach_simone Thanks for letting me know! I had a feeling since those books weren't as talked about. @ReadosaurusText @twohectobooks 7y
FableFox Wicked was great. I just finished Son of a Witch, which required some powering thru the first half until it finally caught speed, but then it turned into a great read also. The end is worth the struggle all in itself! I have Lion Among Men to begin now, although I've heard it's the most boring of the series. Must make it through so I can read Out of Oz, that one gets high marks in reviews. This series keeps me coming back for more! 7y
