Gideon the Ninth | Tamsyn Muir

Finally finished this one. I found it a little tough to wrap my head around at first but I'm eager to read the next in the trilogy now. Solid 4⭐️.

Crocodile on the Sandbank was a pleasant discovery for #Foodandlit22 but the end blew it big time. Overall a good listen 3⭐️.

Library hold on Death on the Nile is about to lapse so I'm hustling on that one.
Tempests and Slaughter I may DNF audiobook because I'm just not that into it, even at 63%.

Read-y_Picker @wideeyedreader I'm glad I stuck with Gideon! I had been wanting to read it for so long it was just so complicated to get into. Tempests and Slaughter is not working for me though. Maybe because I'm listening while I work, I just keep glazing over whole parts and it's not really sticking. #NYWD2022 @monalyisha 3y
wideeyedreader @Read-y_Picker I‘m so glad you like Gideon!!! It‘s one of my all-time favorites already, lol. Tempests and Slaughter is different, lol. No shame in leaving it! 3y

Thanks to everyone who hosted and posted and contributed to making the last year a little less isolating. I'm so looking forward to seeing what the new year brings.

Ringing in the year with one of my favourite activities: updating spreadsheets, getting ready for some new and ongoing challenges, including #Bookspin etc..., #Foodandlit22 and #NYWD22.

TheAromaofBooks Yay!!! Thank you for spinning along with me this year!! 3y
Nute Happy New Year, Alissa!💜🥳💜I keep forgetting that I want to employ the Penny Per Page tactic for purchasing new books. Look how wonderful you did…$194.87 for the year. Wow! That‘s great!🤗 3y
Read-y_Picker @Nute Happy new year! It ended up being pretty simple to keep track of. Just added a column to my over all tracker. And I swear it deterred me from spending. I think I only bought during swap season. Give it a try and good luck! 3y
