These are the books (and tchotchkes) that were in front of my books on my bookshelf.

My goodness I have a lot of books to read to “fit” in my bookshelves.

They‘re not even a small bookshelves!!

Aimeesue Ooh, the lovely Persephones! 9mo

Bad Indians: A Tribal Memoir | Deborah A. Miranda
Pickpick

This got me. Multi-genre, images, graphs, fictionalized imaginings and quotes from 100+ year-old articles. Personal history is also the history of a people.

Thank you Aletheia- I love your card and the stickers so much! I will have the tea tonight.
Does anyone have a magic answer on how to return to normal? I‘m still spending most of my day laying down. How do people work and clean their house? There has to be a magic solution somewhere!

BethM Those book stickers are great! Just do stuff to support your immune system and wait it out 😘 our ped told us blueberries and avocados to help boost kiddo‘s immune system. 3y
Chrissyreadit @BethM so funny! I‘ve been craving blueberries 3y
CBee Normal? What is this sorcery you speak of? 😂😂😂 3y

AmyG I can only say- you first. The house isn‘t going anywhere and a little dust never hurt anyone (in spite of what my mother-in-law told me). 3y
tracey38 There is no normal and everything will still be there later. Just make sure to take care of yourself, too. 3y
Crazeedi Chrissy I have my blueberries from my freezer, and also my grape juice that I'm using every day. Be gentle with yourself my friend. I remember laying for almost 3'month after my back surgeries, unable to do anything. It's a challenge of your strength and courage and you have tons of both❤️❤️❤️ 3y
Chrissyreadit @BethM @CBee @AmyG @tracey38 @Crazeedi thank you friends for encouraging and comforting. ❤️ 3y
CBee Aaaand I‘m out of the loop because I had to scroll through your posts to see that you‘ve been struggling with Covid 🙁 Sending you all my love and healing thoughts ♥️♥️♥️ But still, there is no normal, take it EASY and don‘t worry about the rest. You come first, my friend ♥️ 3y
Chrissyreadit @CBee thank you. 😘 3y
Avanders 😘😘♥️ All I keep hearing is hydrate and rest, especially rest. Even little tasks will be exhausting longer than makes sense. You take care of you. The rest will hold. ♥️♥️ 3y
Chrissyreadit @Avanders thanks. Sending you a big squishy hug. Trying acupuncture today. I never leave my bed these days- the rest is overwhelming because it‘s all I can do 🤣 3y
Avanders @Chrissyreadit ooh hope it helped!! 🙏🏽💖 3y
Chrissyreadit @Avanders it helped so much! 3y
Avanders So happy to hear it!! My sister got it after having 2 years of back pain and it was the first relief she‘d had (turned out to be a herniated disk) - she‘s a big fan now! I‘m willing, but have never gotten it myself… 3y
Chrissyreadit @Avanders I love acupuncture! It has helped with a lot of pain relief over the past few years. I strongly recommend it ❤️❤️❤️ 3y

Some of my textbooks for the semester! I have more online... Almost finished Slavery and Public History, and I've honestly learned so much about collective memory and false narratives. It's incredibly interesting and puts a lot of responsibility on the public historian to tell the historic truth, even if the public is against it.

mavey My face is getting starry-eyed looking at your pic!!🤩🤩Love history!! 3y
