Finished this one just in the nick of time - Hank the Book Sniffer was on his last damn nerve and clearly perturbed by my obvious neglect. The first half rather slogged on for me but the second half really picked up. Over all a pick - if you like Lucy Foley‘s other work you‘ll probably enjoy this one, too.

Ericalambbrown @wanderinglynn I am! But it is written very historically and not embellished terribly. If you are interested in Wilde and enjoy scholarly biographies - like David McCullough‘s John Adams or Ron Chernow‘s Alexander Hamilton for example - you will probably dig it. If that sort of writing annoys you, this may not be your jam. 3y
