Picked up this book while thrifting earlier this month. It looks interesting, so I thought I'd settle in with it for #hyggehour

I've set this challenge on Storygraph. I came up with Long Reads Workout 2026 to read books that are long and intimidating but want to read.
I'm starting with Hannibal Rising at 350+ pages and working all the way to Hilary Mantel's A Place of Greater Safety, that is 600+ pages. If you're interested in this this challenge on Storygraph I put the link below.
Or tag me, @AnishaInkspill, here with #3BookChallenge2026.

I‘m late for #hyggehour but I guess it‘s to be expected this time of year. I just put the last bit of laundry away, and I‘m finally settling down. This should be the last busy week at work, and I‘m ready for it. I also have my last physical therapy appointment this week. What a year this has been. Tonight‘s hour will be spent finishing up this book and voting for #wintercamp2026
Thank you hygge hosts for the best hour of the week.

Ready and excited for my first #hyggehourreadathon The dog is prepared to snuggle, I have blankets, a heating pad, an amber scented candle, and ginger pear tea. I am going to shut off my phone for an hour and read.

A friend of mine overnighted me this book when I told her my doctor recommended it to me. It must be what some of y'all are referring to on Sunday nights?
I do not enjoy this season and I'm trying make it more palatable with tea, books, dog snuggles, and the heating pad. My doctor thought it would be perfect.
Grateful for good friends!

Off to bed to enjoy #hyggehour with everyone! #hyggehourreadathon
Em & Poe get all toasty on the bedroom radiator.

Loved The Thirteenth Husband #histfic! Wish I could get to see Greer with Crystal King. Could use a little #fantasy escape these days. Good reminder we should all be collecting whatever #happiness we can.

I need to read the new one.
I know I‘m being a broken record but I love doing this on several levels.
It‘s my kinda thing.
Haven‘t decided on my approach yet.

It‘s dark out so I‘m using my extra hour today to biggie size my #hyggehour
I‘m on the couch flipping between an ARC, Kamala‘s book, and my book club book. I took tomorrow off to do a college tour with my son so I‘m feeling pretty relaxed.
