A Danish artist has installed a troll in the woods on the outskirts of my city!
Olebolle the troll is 19 feet high and will be here for 3 years. I was able to visit him yesterday.

so-so2.5/5⭐ If this book was meant to be an aesthetic tour, then it accomplished its mission. But it was very surface level. There were a few recipes/DIY projects, but I didn't get much out of the book beyond “Hygge is extremely important to Danish people because it's cold & dark most of the year.“ It seems to be best served as a coffee table book to occasionally be flipped to a random page for a quick quote/anecdote for basic hygge inspiration.
panBeautiful cover - mediocre content. This felt like a book that was solely written to cash in on the hygge craze in America.

It‘s okay to get angry. I am training to become a life coach, and it bothers me when some coaches discount a person‘s anger. Negative emotions are a part of life, they give us balance. It‘s when they dominate our lives that it becomes a detriment to our health and well-being.
I am incredibly frustrated today, and yoga 🧘♀️ and meditation totally backfired. Sometimes it is just okay to veg. With a book!

pickI'm very interested in hygge. I think it's a fascinating concept and practice. This was a good overview that illustrated points with specific people and how they incorporate hygee into their lives.
This book has recipes! And everything looks so lovely.
