Amazing novel! It's described as a thriller, but I'd classify it as more of a mystery. It came together nicely at the end and I am extremely impressed by both the author and translator!

Written in Spanish by Dolores Redondo and translated into English by Michael Meigs. Redondo is also the author of the immensely popular Baztán trilogy. When Spanish businessman Álvaro is killed in a car accident, his writer husband, Manuel, is suddenly made aware of a secret life that Álvaro never mentioned. Highly recommend this mystery set in Spain! ? #translation #womenauthors #Spain

#gratefulreads - day 16 - a book you though you wouldn't like but did. Mainly because not that interested in reading about popes and stuff like that.

Who knew a book about a Papal Conclave could be so interesting? As always, Harris is the master of slow burning suspense, taking the reader through a papal conclave from the point of view of the cardinal responsible for presiding over it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Crazeedi I totally enjoyed this book!! 4mo
Andrew65 I loved this one, but enjoy all his books. I read Munich earlier this month and really enjoyed it. 4mo
Melissa_J @Andrew65 I have not read that one! On to the list it goes. 4mo
Andrew65 @Melissa_J It is a quick and enjoyable read, and taught me a lot about the war that almost broke out in September 1938. Hitler said in 1945 he should have gone to war in 1938. 4mo
