pickThis first seemed too similar to the first book in the series, but then the plot veered and I wound up liking it much more. The characters are very relatable: both Russ and Rory have serious issues with their parents, but he's responded by trying not to attract any attention, and she's responded by acting out for negative attention. Working at summer camp together, they learn to trust and rely on one another.
#LittensLoveRomance: Ch.9-10: things are getting pretty intimate between Shep and Eve. Do they both feel it? Eve definitely senses that things have changed between them. And she is not ready.
Eve‘s family reacted better than I thought they would. Two of her brothers at least seem nice. But they‘re a bit far away to give too much support. It was hard to find a meme that encapsulated their situation. Having such an age difference would be strange.

pickOk I must officially be in my sappy era because I loved this book. #aardvark did it again by introducing me to a genre and author I never would have tried and I am all the happier for it. Definitely picking up the next book by this author.

pickThis was a like more than a love for me, probably at least partially because of my slumpy state (I hadn‘t finished a book in almost a month!! 😱 Just work interfering, but still.) Three things I did love about this were (many of) the characters, all things library/librarian, and the Midwest setting.
“I don't trust poetry. You think you're reading about an intense love story, but then you find out it's actually about a shoe.“
For the most part, this book is kinda boring and annoying. But, UGH!, this line got me. This is literally all I‘m looking for. 😭
