My Goodreads year end #wrapup2024 I didn‘t read as much as I usually do, I hit some book slumps this year but overall I‘m glad I just kept going. Stand outs of the year are Rebecca, The God of the Woods, Margo‘s Got Money Troubles and There There.

First book of the year and I have struck out 😩. The language was a little too scholarly for me, but it was interesting to look through

Couldn't begin to tell you how many times I've shelved this while working in the library and had never read it. Regretting waiting so long. I love dual stories that twist together like this, told in alternating pictures and traditional chapters, that weave together for a full picture. It also has deaf/Deaf representation which I continue to seek out. The author has a wonderful section at the back about education and additional resources.

When I visited the National Gallery, many years ago, this painting by Joseph Wright of Derby stopped me in my tracks. I‘ve never forgotten it. It‘s disturbing but fascinating at the same time.

How to Take Your Grandmother to the Museum | Lois Wyse, Molly Rose Goldman

My Grandma made this crab meat dip for every family holiday dinner. Each one of my kids as well as my dad, my brother and even me have made ourselves sick eating too much of it. Last year after my mom died my brother couldn‘t find the recipe. I had it as written on the green paper by one of my sons several years ago. I translated it to the white paper for family sharing. #LitsyLoveBingo

julieclair Love this story! And the dip sounds soooo yummy. Thanks for sharing! 💙 3mo
Princess-Kingofkings @julieclair My mom bought this book for my youngest son. They enjoyed reading it together! 3mo
julieclair Thanks for this recommendation! Stacked. Also adding it to my budding list of Grandma Books. 😀 3mo
