I‘ve have a completely nutty work week, so I am ready to be back in BOOK mode 📚
Just fininshed the one by Patterson, and it‘s a timely book about an out of control POTUS that has a vendetta against China and will do anything to put us in WW3.

Pickpick

An unusual novel about mental illness and family, violence and revenge, love and secrets. It had a usual structure, cutting back and forth in time and the narrator occasionally speaks directly to the reader. Lots to think about in this book.

Here‘s my review for a book I didn‘t finish. I had a feeling before I started reading this book that it wasn‘t going to be for me but I wanted to give it a fair chance. You never know if a book will be for you until you try reading it.

I also decided to start this book. I own a physical copy of this book that I won from a Goodreads giveaway but I‘m listening to it on audio. It‘s only 5 hours. I‘m feeling bored with this book but I‘ll stick with it for now.

Day 1 of the #wintergames photo challenge - Red Cover

Today, I‘m sharing this book with a red cover. I own a physical copy of it because it‘s a book I won from a Goodreads giveaway but I‘m going to listen to it on audio. I found the audiobook on Libby. I don‘t know if I‘m going to like it or not but the audiobook is only 5 hours. If I don‘t like this book, I‘ll DNF it and unhaul the book too.

Repost for @Soubhiville

#AuthorAMonth readers (and anyone else who is interested)

It‘s time to nominate authors for next year‘s reading list!

I will build the poll in 2-3 weeks. Nominate anyone you‘d like, but I‘ll remove all authors we‘ve already read from the poll list.

Authors can write any genre, but must have several books published.

I‘m looking forward to seeing who you suggest!

When you get all the way down to sleeve separation on your extra large sweater made of teeny light fingering weight yarn, and you're supposed to have a stitch count of 480, and you count off the stitches to mark them for sleeve separation, and there are exactly 480 of them somehow

#litsycrafters - you get it

ravenlee Hooray! That is the BEST feeling, instead of the “where am I going to increase/decrease those three other stitches?!” 😆 7mo
Lauredhel @ravenlee right? Though with the yoke pattern finished and 480 around, it could easily have been ten out and I could have just adjusted or ignored it! It's just so satisfying when the count is exactly right 7mo
julesG That's awesome! I have those moments where I count the stitches, count them again just to make sure and suddenly there are some missing or too many, I count again,... Well, you know. 🙈 #KnittersOfLitsy 7mo
rabbitprincess That is awesome!!! 7mo
Lauredhel @julesG I hear that, my count is probably more likely to be wrong than my stitches 7mo
