I decided to join in for #Top22of22 It was hard to leave out a few, but I must say it was a good year for books. In 2022, I‘ve learned new things about myself, considered different perspectives, made magic with Baba Yaga, went back in time in a café, walked amongst gods, ran through the forest with wolves and woodsmen, and treated vampires and mummies with Dr. Van Helsing. I walked a path of healing and fantasy, and these books certainly helped.

Cinfhen #screenshot and I love how you described your reading journey 🤓 1y

Awhile ago, @Cinfhen asked for my #20Best2020 . I‘ve waited until evening of NYE to make my final list. I feel like it changes every time I make a list! But, this is based on my GR ratings as well as how many times I recommended the book to someone - if I‘m constantly telling people I know to read it, then it‘s at the top!

@JaneyWaneyB , my top 5 are the first row!

I‘m trying to finish one more book to reach 150 for the year...a personal best!

Cinfhen I‘m so glad you didn‘t forget to post!! This list requires a #screenshot for further reference 💕🤗🥳Thanks for sharing...Happy New Year, Jess!! Excited for #ReadingAsia2021 3y
Librarybelle Happy New Year, Cindy!! @Cinfhen 🥳🎉🍾 3y

@Addison_Reads thanks for the tag. These are the books I‘ve read in the last year that I‘ve wanted to talk, cry, gush, argue, and smile about with other people in the past year so these would be my bookclub picks. #myidealbookclub

Addison_Reads @Reggie Great choices! I've only read Sula, but all the others are on my TBR. I love that you picked ones you've read that left such emotional impressions. 4y
Cinfhen Absolutely took a #screenshot 🥰 4y

A pile of #History books in Mount's book. Although I read several nonfiction books a year & am fascinated by it, history is one of my least read genres. A few of these are on my TBR.

alisonrose King Leopold‘s Ghost is really good! 5y
Melissa_J I have a couple of those on my TBR pile, too. 5y

arlenefinnigan Cod sounds intriguing! 5y
saresmoore Hmm, I look at these and just...don‘t care. 😬😴 History is fascinating, but I think I tend to go for the sociology- or science-forward accounts and it‘s hard to know what you‘re getting, at first. 5y

I LOVE Spotify, so I‘m really loving this little trend of publishers making playlists to accompany books to create an extra bit of buzz.....
These are four I‘ve come across and enjoyed, and I‘ve attached a great article from ‘Bustle‘ that pairs Spotify playlists with books! 🎶💕🎵💕

squirrelbrain Sounds great - I shall investigate further... 🎶😁❤️ 5y
alisiakae I like this too! I have been listening to the playlist to go along with 5y
