I love her writing, she takes me to a magical place that no other book has taken me. I love the feel of story. The romance, the magic, the scenery.. I really love the magic scissors in this and just how well done the magic is done in this book. I loved the romance. The war parts were great. I did feel like that this wasn‘t as amazing as Spin the Dawn.

Don‘t y‘all hate starting a brand new series and forgetting what‘s going on before the next book comes out? 🙃

I know I liked #SpinTheDawn because I rated it 4 stars on goodreads, but now that my library hold of #UnravelTheDusk has arrived on my kindle I‘m a little lost 😂

I‘m really enjoying it so far, I guess I‘ve just read too many books in between! Perhaps it‘s time to go google some spoilers of the first book 💕

This definitely has Mulan vibes, but it only lasts for about a quarter to half of the book. I loved the magic in the book and the different empires/cultures. I do feel like the MC became a bit juvenile over the romance, but overall it is a good book and something I definitely recommend.
