For #tuesdaytunes, this is my song history from Amazon music. Two songs I listened to recently that I never heard before were: Mine by Sleep Token and Changes by Black Sabbath. I liked Mine and I liked Changes. I heard Yungblud sing Changes for the Ozzy Osbourne tribute at the MTV VMAs recently and I didn‘t care for his version so I decided to play the original version because I‘ve never heard it before. Sleep Token is a new artist to me.

I think in lyrics all the time. When I saw the prompt for the day, this song came to mind for some unknown reason. It came out sometime in my late childhood, I think. It‘s a sweet song so I‘ll share it in case you might want to listen to it.

For #tuesdaytunes, I‘m sharing this music news that I saw on my Facebook newsfeed recently. I‘m not a Beatles fan. I was born in 1990 so I wasn‘t born yet when they were popular. My mom was born in 1961. They were around during my mom‘s time but she never got into The Beatles. She‘s a KISS fan. I don‘t think this is something my mom and I would be interested in watching together. They have some good songs but we‘re not Beatles fans.

Dralex090 It‘s amazing to be here on this site. I have introduced 2 of my colleagues who loves reading books. Happy new month dear 2w

I enjoyed the insights & found this book relatable as my mom suffered a brain tumor in 2015 & recently an aneurysm with a small stroke. It is very scary knowing someone you love could never be the same while they keep on being there physically. This is explored from the first person & scientific perspective. As a director at the NIMH, studying mental health, the author did not recognize symptoms or feel anything unusual while losing her own mind.

I‘m about 75% through this book and doing some googling about the book & author, I came across the linked NYT article by the author‘s son-in-law. Sad update to her condition, but our own decline is a part of everyone‘s life. We can only try to do our best to stay healthy. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/01/21/opinion/cancer-mental-health-wisdom.html?smid...

A fun, smart dive into the science of identity and personality. Blends neuroscience, psychology, and humor in a way that‘s both curious and personal. Quirky and thought-provoking.
