8 books in May! Can you tell I‘m between jobs? 😂
I‘m also halfway through Audition for #CampLitsy2025. Finding it a little tough going as I dislike the main character. I‘ll probably push through to finish it this week and start on something queer for Pride month.

A few more #camplitsy2025 books have made their way into my greedy little book hoarding hands thanks to Indigo‘s 20% off for teachers sale ( and my plum plus discount too 🎉 ) and my guilty pleasure #alihazelwood 🌶️🌶️
I loved this book. Annie is in an IKEA when an earthquake in the Pacific Northwest strikes. She‘s 37 weeks pregnant, miserably pregnant, and we follow her on her journey to find a loved one and home. This is broken up by chapters depicting her life leading up to this day. The whole time, she‘s talking to Bean, her unborn baby. This book was a rollercoaster of emotion for me. I was horrified, I laughed, cause Annie is funny, and I cried. Pick!👇🏼
I did find some books to nominate.

Here are my #camplitsy2025 nominations!
Sorry... I put 5 instead of 4 because I'm TERRIBLE AT THIS SORT OF THING.
- The Lamb by Lucy Rose
- Who Wants To Live Forever by Hanna Thomas Uose
- The Ladie Upstairs by Jessie Elland
- I Want to Go Home but I'm Already There by Roisín Lanigan
- Fair Play by Louise Hegarty
Check out these synopses!!!!! What do you think??
I'm also up for The Dream Hotel, but it's already been nominated lots!
#ToB25 and #LitsyToB25 have taken very different roads this year (which makes it so fun!) but in the end we all agree (at least a majority does 😉) on James as the winner of both tournaments. Percival Everett finally takes away the 🐓!
Thank you all for participating in this year‘s LitsyToB and I hope to see you next year. But before that, it won‘t be long until we‘ll be back with #CampLitsy25! Meg, Helen and I hope you‘ll join us there!
