I‘m reading this Netgalley ARC being published today and I‘m still not finished with it but I have an hr and a half left in the audio ARC so I should be able to get finished today. This is a nonfiction book about AI, ChatGPT and also tech startups like Google, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter so I would say that this book is set in the USA.

Cheating a bit because I‘m reading my nonfiction (The Anxious Generation) right now with breakfast, but it‘s not really set in a particular locale, except broadly the USA. So I‘m going with my fiction selection, which is set in and around Oxford UK.

Such an interesting prompt.Fanon traveled extensively, and a compelling part of this nuanced book is set in the DRC and Angola, so all of these places!
I started listening to this middle grade book last night about a girl in middle school named Greta. I have 3 hrs left in the audiobook. It doesn‘t say what state she lives in but I‘m assuming she lives in the United States. This is a Netgalley ARC that I requested from Macmillan Audio that‘s being published on September 9.

Eugene claims to have lived several past lives, from Spain and Italy to Oregon and California, and even spent time as a cat in Chelsea. This is a very intriguing story, and I can‘t wait to see #whereintheworld it goes next.

My current book has me traveling around France and the surrounding countryside quite a bit. Mostly we‘ve been in Marseille, but when I left off we were in Lisbon planning to head back to Marseille by way of Barcelona. I‘m always amazed when I read about crossing European country borders like that. I once briefly lived at the intersection of 3 US states and even commuting through them with ease was such a novelty.
