pickRobinson would probably make it on my top 5 list of favorite poets—if I were to ever make one. He wrote metered poetry and sonnets in a time when they were going out of style. But as far as poets go, he has the most attuned sense to time and meter and rhyme I have ever read.
Also… what is happening up in Maine? Robinson was from there, and we all know another famous Maine writer, and just like his work, some of these poems are quite dark.

pickOn our drive home from the casino, my husband (the English instructor) was shocked that I had never read this story. So, we found it on Libby and #AudioCommute listened to it. I really enjoyed this. It was a nice mix of creepy and suspenseful. Also having moved to New England in the past year, I am glad to read/listen to local authors :)
