This is my haul from #awesomecon this weekend in dc. I had such a great time walking around, seeing panels, and hanging out with some littens. I bought all these books from the authors or artists and got to talk to them about their work.
I went to this #AwesomeCon panel, and it‘s like it was made for me. Author Max Brooks and members from the Blue Ribbon Study on Biodefense (Ken Wainstein and Dr. Asha George) talked about biodefense, germ warfare, and released Brooks new graphic novel Germ Warfare: A Very Graphic History.
...and I got to meet Max Brooks, who signed my copy of Germ Warfare with “Jessica - who already knows.” 🖤

Seriously, littens are the most amazing people to meet. I don't know what it is about book nerds, but you guys are all the kindest, most interesting people. And very forgiving of my lack of chill. 😂
@theresidentromantic came to visit me in the booth! Both her and her penguin are adorable and nerdy and wonderful!
