Soscha Maybe dog adoption. I think I‘d said we lost the last 3 of our very senior puppies the last 4 months. Dogless presently. So maybe we adopt. My partner is very hesitant about this. He only wants ONE. I told him two, need two to keep each other entertained particularly when they‘re younger. So maybe he adopts a 7 mo. old terrier today. On the Eve, maybe the maltie I particularly like—but the shelter has a 12yr old chi. So old man chi has seniority. 5mo

Soscha IF it were my Xmas & birthday choice, we can bring home the Maltese & the little old man together on Xmas Eve. I don‘t believe prayer works but if you do please pray for us. 🙏🏻 5mo

Librarybelle Lots of cleaning today for me, because the next two days will be busy baking days. I hope this afternoon will be a nice relaxing time with books (and possibly naps). 5mo

TheBookHippie One holiday party done Thursday night here and it was lovely. Daughter is finally through reaction to anesthesia - took over 72 hours 😝🫣😵‍💫. Tomorrow I have visitation with my parents at my brother‘s Christmas family party.😵‍💫 praying to the gods that they just don‘t speak to me and or I don‘t hear them. But then it‘s a whole other year til I have to do it again. (I see my brother regularly). Today is just coffee, rest, books. 5mo

Cuilin Quiet day, H and I are planning a Yule walk in the woods. Mostly this weekend I will be audiobooking while knitting, baking or wrapping gifts. 5mo

Deblovestoread For the first time in several years we are spending the holiday at my dad‘s with my brothers and their families including 5 dogs. It‘s going to be a mad house. So today I load up and travel there so we can shop, decorate etc. Hoping it all goes well. 5mo

dabbe @Soscha It's truly astounding how our hearts simply grow more to allow more pets in. We still love our others as much as we always did, but our heart expands to allow more in. Crossing fingers and toes and wishing you and your hubby the best of luck on this next doggie adventure. 🖤🐾🐾🖤 5mo

TheBookHippie @dabbe I have zero f@*ks to give. I do this for my much younger brother whom I love and isn‘t ready to let go yet. I let go at 17. However, I‘m just hoping for quiet for all our sakes. Not realistic. But you never know. As Whitman says miracles are everywhere. 5mo
