Bookmarked: Reading My Way from Hollywood to Brooklyn | Wendy W. Fairey

Apparently this is a debate I never thought about!!

Where do you put your bookmark?
It appears that some people place the bookmark on the last page they read, others (me!) put the mark on the next page to read.

For example here I would place the bookmark on the page where the next chapter begins so I do not reread where I am finished, and do not need to open then turn the page to begin reading again.

Where does it go? 🛑📑📚

SpellboundReader I've always put my bookmark adjacent to the next page to read. It never occurred to me to place it on the last page read. I guess as long as one consistently uses the same technique, either way works fine. 🤔😁 2y

Sace Well it depends. If I‘m mid chapter I place it on the page where I left off. If I just finished the chapter I put it at the beginning of the next chapter, which sometimes means during the page, and sometimes not. 2y

Soubhiville I also put it in the spot I need to open to in order to continue. So on whichever page I‘m about to start on. 2y

monalyisha Well, what you‘re all doing makes much more sense than what I‘ve always done (just stick it in the page I‘m on when I stop)…but it‘s too late to change my ways now! 😜 2y

Sace @monalyisha 🤣 Well I mean that‘s basically what I do. It just depends if I get to finish reading a chapter before I get interrupted. 2y

Corrections in Ink: A Memoir | Keri Blakinger

so-so

#UnpopularOpinion Ive seen many glowing reviews for this memoir but I never fully warmed to Keri. As a competitive pairs skater her life was full of discipline and determination yet the minute she was presented with a setback she did a complete 180. I had a difficult time understanding her decisions & mindset. I applaud her honesty and the ability to come back from the brink of hell and once again turn her life around.👇🏼

Cinfhen Kudos for using her privilege and knowledge to speak up and represent those who are still struggling with addiction and incarceration. #ScriptOnTheSpine
