LibrarianRyan @BarbaraBB Yeah. I went kind of out of control. I couldn't find the Booked challenge but I looked a few days ago. Off to look again. My reading challenge is also on there (It runs July -June) #BBRC or Birth and beyond Reading Challenge. 3y

BarbaraBB @TrishB Obviously in normal times 😫. It would be five months from September. He studies IBA and his university and yours are partners, whatever that means. My movie is born first in my head, dies in paper; is resuscitated by the living persons and real objects I use, which are killed in film but, placed in a certain order and projected on to a screen, come to life again, like flowers in water.

This was ok. Outdated in some ways and a lot of it you can learn from various YouTube videos that show you how the shots are done in actual films. Also, too much talk of storyboards.

First book of 2018. A bit pretentious, but one of those required texts for understanding film history and Bresson. Still, a nice way to start my reading for 2018.
