Wow! What a book! It was one of the most unique fantasy books I‘ve ever read.

It took me about 2 months to read this book, mainly because it‘s a story worth savoring. I didn‘t want to rush through it and I am glad I didn‘t. I enjoyed every page of this book!

The world was so different from anything I've read before.

Absolutely not for me. I‘m a no on the reverse harem, a no on hot for teacher, and a yes on the Hunger Games-y vibes of the first 1/3.

Texreader But that eagle! Wow!! 3w

Warning: proceed with caution! No, for real. This isn‘t even the darkest thing I‘ve ever read, and I was very confused about my feelings. I wanted some dark horror romances this Halloween, and I‘m gonna say this one didn‘t disappoint. But it had me questioning my own sanity a couple times. I‘m not gonna say don‘t read it, because I‘m gonna read number two. Just check your trigger warnings, please. 3.6⭐️

I enjoyed the first of this series but I couldn‘t get onto this one. It was more assault heavy than I remembered the first one being. I highly doubt that I will try to finish this at a later date. #DNF #NotForMe

This was a good one — lots of angst, lots of spice, and lots of action. Reyna is a heroine I can get behind, strong and wilful and determined. Spider is just sweet — tough on the outside and a pile of soft mush inside. The way they both eases into trusting one another after being closed off and hurt was really lovely, and the banter was peak. This was a great series overall and I really enjoyed it.

I liked this one better than the first one! Sloane is a feisty, take-no-shit kind of girl, with a wicked sense of humour and an unfalteringly cheerful outlook on life. Grumpy Declan is the perfect foil, and the way they fight and struggle their way together is a very enjoyable read. Lots of suspense, a little mystery, and some great action scenes. The spice was well written and overall this book was a just a good time. Loving this series!

This was a great read — lots of humour, drama, and intensity. Kage and Nat are absolute fire, and I loved the give and take and communication between them. Especially lovely was the solid friendship between Nat and BFF Sloane, which I thought was really well written. I loved the moments of snark and the funny bits, and the spice was SPICY. 🥵 A ton of fun, although I have to dock points for Kage appearing to occasionally having extra hands😂
