Hey long time no post!

I'm still reading but I changed phone and without the app available in the Play store for android I forget to come on.

Sure I kept a screenshot somewhere of a way to sideload the app 🤷

Anyway been back weight training since November and I found this on my shelves. I have no memory of where or when I got it. Not sure if it will be a bit Bro Science for me - the cover does not look promising - but in I go to find out!

Ruthiella See if this helps- Download the APK file and open it. link: https://litsy.en.uptodown.com/android Open the APK file. Your phone might say it's from an unreliable source, but you can tell your phone it isn't. This should install the Litsy App on Android.

https://www.appbrain.com/app/litsy/com.catch84.litsy

Make sure you click the correct download button and not one of the ads on those sites.

Low pick. I liked it better than Are You My Mother? but not as much as Fun Home. Alison Bechdel takes us through her life using the sports and exercises she was into at various times. She also connects these to her psychological state. Wordsworth, Coleridge, Kerouac, and other literary figures show up occasionally, but I‘m not as sure of the reason for that except she‘s comparing her state of mind to theirs. No walk; I twisted my knee. 😞

Ruthiella Hope your knee heals soon. ❤️ 1mo
KathyWheeler @Ruthiella Thank you. It‘s so annoying! 4w

I just started reading The Bad Seed series to Jace this week. This is THE cutest series! This was my favorite page from this particular book - it‘s always great to see my favorite show, Mad Men, mentioned out in the wild. 😅 I would highly recommend this entire series and Jace really loved it as well. I love the artwork. #TheBadSeed #childrensbooks #MadMen #raisingreaders

GingerAntics I love all the pop culture references in those TV shows. 🤣😂🤣 5mo

This was an ok book. I've been practicing yoga daily for the last 4 years and it's done wonders for my mental health but I haven't seen the results I want physically. I've been stepping up my routine a bit with weights, cardio, getting my steps in, etc. I thought this book would help motivate me to push myself more but not so much. I think it's more geared toward people looking to START exercising. I learned a bit from it though so not all bad.

This is a great resource. The glaring issue with it is that the website links no longer work. I think the digital copies could be updated with her new website as the information is still available if you search for it.

This book seems to have gotten a lot of criticism for flagging some of the risks of yoga, but I found it very interesting and the outcomes heavily in favour of yoga.
Great use of existing studies and breaking down the benefits of yoga into several different tranches.
I took a lot of notes on things I‘d like to follow up on and learn more about.
A great read for any yogi 🧘🏻‍♀️

PurpleyPumpkin Sounds very interesting. Stacked!📚 6mo
