Not terrible, but not a total winner for me. As much as I loved the Goodnight Moon connections, I could never suspend my disbelief enough to allow fictional Aunt Ruby to have created portions of the story instead of MWB herself. But June was a compelling character, and I was invested enough to finish! #womensfiction

The tagged book isn‘t the one I‘m reading. I just found it funny that there is an #ipad version. My goal today is to read until mine lets me know it‘s time to recharge, so I can be ready to start a new reading challenge on March 1st. I‘m only about 30% done with my current read, so I might just barely make it in time, but I‘m not one for reading multiple books at the same time. The one I‘ll be starting is also a #chunkster. It will take time!

bnp March is a good month for a chunkster. 2y

Okay this baby book is not in the database which isn't surprising but it is pretty cool so I wanted to show it. The pages feel like paper but are stronger, able to be wiped down, and don't have sharp edges. The illustrations are gorgeous! The words are simple, just "goodnight" and counting nighttime objects like the moon from one to five. On the edge there is a BPA free teething strip, since we all know babies put everything in their mouths.

Bookzombie That‘s a neat book. 2y

Goodnight IPad is a "parody for the next generation". It's based on Margaret Wise Brown's Goodnight Moon. This book is a RF about a kid who lives with many electronics. When it's time to go to bed, the old lady takes each electronic away one by one, until all they're left with is a book, which just so happens to be Goodnight Moon! This book would be great to teach as partner work. Students will be given both Goodnight IPad, and Goodnight Moon.

tclivio This comes from the lesson plan on https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Goodnight-iPad-Lesson-Plan-2305823?s.... Through this, students will be able to make a text to text connection. Comparing both of these books with a partial will cover UDL 8.3 (Foster collaboration and community) and EL 2 (promote cooperation). #ucflae3414sp21 3y

Came in right on time since today is day one of many I will be spending at home. I THINK I‘m gonna re-catalogue my books, and this beauty will come in handy! Not to mention help me jot my notes down so I can get going on the book I am co-writing.

I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during all of this! And keeping busy... maybe flying through a tbr? I know I‘ll try to!

Goodnight all you fabulous people, it‘s 2am here and I‘m gonna attempt to get some decent sleep before the #24in48 #readathon kicks off in 12hrs time. One of the drawbacks to living in Australia is the time zone difference, even being an insomniac doesn‘t quite get me on the same page as most of y‘all. I‘ve got my books all handy, comfy socks & slippers, my reading chair & blanket, and most importantly, my snacks ready & waiting. See you in 12hrs!

This was a fun parody that has already aged, but still stands up. I say aged because BlackBerry is a thing of the past. But I love that the kids are playing Angry Birds, and listening to Eminem. A great parody that is fun for anyone who might be a bit to addicted to their iPad.

I read Goodnight Moon to my boys many times over the years, so I laughed when I saw this techie parody of it. So much fun! :)
