This is a story about and old man who loves to sing and dance. In his youth, he was spritely and able to move and dance easily but not that he is older he struggles to move. His grandchildren love watching him sing and dance and for a moment they see him as a young man again.
"But the important stuff, the garden remembers for him" This shows that the garden is living to tell the story for him for his grandson to learn about. The quote is meaningful in many ways as they are portraying the story for him by explaining the story is from the garden; in the grandpas perspective.
When learning about history- you can read this book to begin the journey of learning about a families history. In this story, a grandson is exploring the memories and love that was left behind in his grandpas garden. 10/10 book.
This book was great. It was published 2012. This book has wonderful illustrations and is about a grandson visiting his grandpa's garden and reliving the memories and effort he provided in the garden. The images tell a story of their own.
