My #2019 according to #goodreads. I also was 5 books away from completing #litsyatoz2019
After I finish my current read I‘m only two books away from completing @BookishMarginalia‘s #LitsyAtoZ2019 reading challenge! I‘m closer than I thought 😁 I realized I forgot to include my J pick & I also was able to shift a few books around (Zelazny‘s Blood of Amber became my Z pick & I used Trumps of Doom for T) so I could use my most recent read for the letter B. I just need the letters U & Y (titles or author‘s last name) now. #LitsyAtoZ
I was browsing Hoopla hoping to find a few comics or graphic novels that would work for my last few #LitsyAtoZ2019 reads & I found Beasts of Burden. It doesn‘t fit for J, T, U, Y unless I kinda bend the rules a bit go by the artist‘s last name instead of author‘s last name, but I really enjoyed it! I loved vol. 1 so I borrowed vol. 2 & I‘m looking forward to reading it once Minerva allows me to use the iPad! #CatwithBook #ReadingBuddy #CatsofLitsy
My #DecemberTBR goal is to complete my #2019ReadingChallenges: 7 books left for my #Goodreads challenge & 6 of those need to fit #LitsyAtoZ2019 (J, T, U, V, X, Y). I‘m a mood reader so most of the titles I chose at the beginning of 2019 aren‘t appealing to me now. I‘m struggling to pick my next read! My bed-side stack is a mix of potential A to Z picks & a couple TBR books. I have lots of choices for most letters but nothing is jumping out at me.
I got this! Just two letters remain on #LitsyAtoZ2019. #24B4Monday is going to help me crush these last two books!
It‘s official, I have finished the #litsyatoz2019 challenge with my X book by Diana Xarissa. I just read Arrivals and Arrests which is the first in her Ghostly Cozy series. While the mystery was not exactly earth shattering, I did enjoy the setting on the Isle of Man 🇮🇲.
#LitsyAtoZ2019. 23 down 3 to go. This was an okay read for me. I was pleasantly surprised to see William Ritter is an Oregon author.

Oh my goodness, this book! I'm trying to decide how I feel. Is it fantastic? Yes! Should it be read? Absolutely! I just have so many things to say and process about the ending. I need a book club discussion. 😊
Ann Patchett is just so good. Her writing is so smooth and simple but the stories/emotions/relationships are so complex!
No matter what, her storytelling is stellar. Loved this book.
Letter D for #LitsyAtoZ2019
