I think this is one of the better ones in the series because it was a little different and the characters worked. Instead of the immortal character having to explain to a human that they are a life mate and vampires are real, it was a matter of getting over fears and past trauma. Also, I loved G. G.! It was fun getting to know him. 4⭐️

This one started out strong and then fizzled. I liked the basic plot of two twin girls escaping from their uncle who wants to sell them off to men in order to fund a gambling habit. One girl, Charlotte aka Charlie, poses as a boy to hopefully avoid detection. However, after a while it just seemed a little ridiculous. 3⭐
