If you haven‘t read this author you MUST! Her writing is so lyrical and her characters are ones you want to take the journey with. This is a fairytale-esq story combining Princess and the Pea, a little Cinderella and her own unique myth to make a page turning story. Made it onto my keeper shelf! #100readchallenge #marchreadinglist

If you haven't already, add this to your TBR pile! It was so magically beautiful, I was disappointed to be finished reading it. I completely devoured every page. This isn't a typical read for me but the creativity of the author and the unique storyline were truly captivating.

10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a great fantasy/fey novel.

📖📚 Happy Reading! 📚📖

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Stain” is a lush telling of a dark and powerful fairytale. Combining the classic tales of “Cinderella”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “The Princess and the Pauper” and the “The Princess and the Pea”, the story still manages to remain original. I loved all the characters and their redeeming arcs, and the ending was surprisingly satisfying.

🚨CONTENT INCLUDES: Child abuse, animal abuse, murder

If I have this correct this is part of the Splintered series, but is also a stand alone.

Gissy I need to read the first ones. Love the covers! 5y
TheBrightSideGirl This is a stand alone retelling of the princess and the pea. Should be completely separate from Splintered. 5y
LibrarianRyan @TheBrightSideGirl cool thanks. Did you purchase it? Or borrow it? I was wondering if copies had colored words like the paperbacks. The BN special edition does not. 5y
TheBrightSideGirl I got it from the library. It's a beautiful book!! No colored words from what I can see. But it's a gorgeous book and I'm loving how intense and detailed it is! 5y
