Librarian and single mom of two Amy has to deal with her husband - who left her three years ago out of the blue - returning and trying to get back into her children's lives. She ends up leaving them with John for the summer, while she enjoys a #momspringa in New York with the help of best friends Talia and Lena. She falls for Daniel, a hot librarian. A very easy and fun book to read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 stars. Read this partly as an audiobook. I liked the book, but I could have poked my eyes out whenever the word #momspringa was used, felt like overkill! But nevertheless, I enjoyed the story. Will be checking out more of the author‘s books!

It was fun. I enjoyed this over the top romp through NYC and dating after 40 as a Mom. #momspringa this mom would just settle for bookstores, a pool, naps and room service.

TamTracy I liked this book too. Perfect vacation read! 4mo

I loved this book! It‘s contemporary chick lit and romance, but it‘s also a love letter to books. Amy Byler is a school librarian who has been a single parent for the last 3 years, because her husband walked out and didn‘t look back. Until now; now he‘s back and he wants to spend time with the kids. Now she‘s taking the summer off, on a #momspringa, and rediscovering Amy Byler. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Well this was adorable. I too want a #momspringa !!! With no blind dates though because I am happily married 🤣. Just the sort of pick me up book I needed.

If I had a momspringa I would spend my time reading tons of books uninterrupted, drinking coffee in the quiet and definitely get a massage!!!

Finished the other day but forgot to review it. So much charm & humor in this enjoyable read. Even though I'm not a mom (at least not of human children anyway-Max🐱does sometimes make me wish for a 😼#momspringa) I related to Amy because of her love of books, quirks & sense of snarky humor. I laughed out loud throughout the book & adored her friends. Not too deep, just good fun & an added bonus is that it is available on Kindle Unlimited too.

GlassAsDiamonds After being “bar” for 3am kitty chasing, the idea of a 🐱 Momspringa sounds like something I could embrace!! 😂😂😂😂 7mo

In one of my current reads Amy's #momspringa takes place in the summer in NYC, a great #SummerNightCity. I liked this scene about the Brooklyn Bridge at night:

'The real bridge is lit with streetlights all the way to Brooklyn, and the suspension wires are dotted with pretty white lights, and clouds of dark purple hang in the night sky. "Well," I tell him. "This is pretty wonderful!"' ??

Cinfhen I always loved the Brooklyn Bridge 7mo

Honestly I didn‘t know if I would like this book but as a mom with a frantic life I could relate to Amy Byler on sooooo many levels! If you are a mom over 35 read this book! I laughed and so many times thought “Haha oh me too!” Amy‘s internal snark and outward cute nerd made me want to be her friend. I am very onboard with the idea of #momspringa.
4 out of 5 stars!

More than halfway through this easy-going summer read. I‘m a little disappointed with the simplicity of the style of writing, but I‘m interested to see how this all ends. #momspringa

This was such a fun, charming little story. I found school librarian Amy Byler (a single mother of two) likable, relatable, and adored her quick wit. A perfect summer-time read! ❥ #momspringa
