“Trisha?” Ava said into the phone, and Jules whipped their head around. “We‘ve got a situation up in the showrooms.”

“I‘ll be right there,” Trisha replied and hung up.

“Seriously?” Jules said. They sighed with melodramatic disappointment. “We find A Wrinkle in Time, and you tell the manager?” 😂

The audio on this is only 3 hours, and if you liked Horrorstor or like the idea of a story that takes place (partially) inside an IKEA-like store, this is for you. It‘s less horror that Hendrix‘s book, and leans scifi and multiverse. LGBTQIA young adults searching for a missing grandma. Good times!

The plane accelerates, pressing us both back into our seats so firmly that we laugh. As we rush forward, faster and faster, we lift off from the ground and claim the sky.

Finished my first book for #auldlangspine! This wasn‘t on my radar at all as I don‘t read a ton of sci-fi anymore. I thought the characters acted a little young to be in their late 20s. However, I really loved this book and all the characters.

A group of friends break into a defunct spaceship. It takes off and they have to figure out how to survive. Also, romance! Great book!

I was really torn between advancing James or Sorcery and Small Magics in my bracket, but I knew it was a bit of a moot point in the end since The Stars Too Fondly has long since been my favorite book of the year.
