A Million Worlds with You
A Million Worlds with You | Claudia Gray
The fate of the multiverse rests in Marguerites hands in the final installment of the Firebird trilogy by New York Times bestselling author Claudia Gray. Ever since she used the Firebird, her parents invention, to cross through alternate dimensions, Marguerite has been at the center of a cross-dimensional feud. Now she has learned that the evil Triad Corporation plans to destroy hundreds of universes, using their ultimate weapon: another dimensions Marguerite who is wicked, psychologically twisted, and always one step ahead. Even though her boyfriend Paul has always been at Marguerites side, the Triads last attack has left him a changed man, and he may never be the same again. Marguerite alone must stop Triad and prevent the destruction of the multiverse. Its a battle of the Marguerites . . . and only one can win. In the epic conclusion to the sweeping series that kicked off with A Thousand Pieces of You, fate and family will be questioned, loves will be won and lost, and the multiverse will be forever changed.

This YA series has been a bright spot in my reading year. Artistic Marguerite, who has spent her childhood surrounded by scientists, travels the multiverse with technology developed by her parents and their two (of course) handsome research assistants. The world-building is a bit fragile at times but I loved the glimpse into each universe Gray created along with a romance angle that digs into fate, destiny, and ethics in tightly nested universes.

LeafingThroughLife Also, look at those covers. Who couldn‘t love a series with such beautiful covers? 😍😅 4mo

Not exactly what I planned, but I'm making progress ...

Finished a #BookSpinBingo book, 60% with another one
And halfway with NOS4R2
Hopefully I can finish both of them before #JoyousJanuary ends

I was pleased with the outcome . Made me realize how important science is. I wonder about multiple selves more.
I really hope inter dimensional travel is possible. I love the character of regular Theo.

A fun finale for this series! It's not exactly a series I'll gush over and reread forever but I had a lot of fun with this one. Also, this one is the #lastbookinaseries for those working on #readharder this year. There are a few good options on that front. So many good series ending this year. Anyway, this was a fun series for a little escapism.

I almost gave this a So-so but I liked it for the conclusion. It was very cliche tho. I was glad there was some discussion about how decisions can change your fates and you aren‘t necessarily fated to do or be one certain person.

I've been listening to this book for awhile. It was a good conclusion to the trilogy. I wish I had read it as I had the first 2 but the reader was great. My mind just wonders sometimes listening to audiobooks. The author made the theory of interdimensional travel sound understandable. A great YA series.

I loved this book, and I'm really sad I've finished reading this series. This series is all about character and destiny, and this book continued to develop those themes in new and surprising ways.

I thought the ending was satisfying and a great close to this epic series.

Don't be surprised to see me reading more Claudia Gray in the near future.

4.5 stars!
I love this series so much and finally got the courage to finish it. In the final installment we get to visit tombs in Egypt, a space station and others. I did not expect the way this went and it was suprising in a good way. Following along with Marguerite as she world jumped was so exciting. The half star off was due to Paul and his I'm not good for you nonsense.

Ah, this book. Rough, tension-filled start — as usual, no time to catch your breath and get your bearings, much like Margherite taking a cross-dimensional trip! But then, much like the MC, you slip back into this world‘s Marguerite, feel what she feels, and her mission is yours. And then, chapter 21 — the best traits of the trilogy all in one place. Very good last installment. I love Claudia Gray‘s quirky sci-fi and strong female MCs! 👍🏼👍🏼

Decided to set this aside for a bit and finish the third book of the Ministry of Curiosities then return to the Three Dark Crowns series.
Posting this for @Mommamanzi to show her a couple of my favorite mismatched teacups 😊

Mommamanzi Oh my gosh!!! I am so in love, I wish I had the eye to mix match things like this. You're awesome!!!! 6y
Elisa @Mommamanzi oh wow, thanks! It‘s much easier when you have a lot of choices! 😊 I was very lucky when I went to the shop one time to look for teacups for a baby shower, they had a great selection and I basically just started picking teacups and saucers!! I‘d invite you to go shopping for thrifted China together but I‘m guessing you are not on his side of the pond 😅 (edited) 6y

Mondays. Why do they have to exist? I'm already desperate for the weekend and my day hasn't even fully started yet! Send me help! Water colors are definitely a favorite of mine! The firebird trilogy happens to be one of my favorite ya sci-fi romances. It's also one of my favorite series in general this year along with splintered and the lunar chronicles! To be able to use a device to jump from parallel universe to universe... How awesome is that?

This was definitely fun and interesting, but I admit it was also confusing AF. I never fully understood the details of what they were doing and how, and I feel like there were a lot of plot holes that the author ignored? Also, don't want to spoil but the overarching mission of the parents that drives the entire story is a bit WTF. I love the scientific concept of it because I'm a nerd for quantum theory, just wish the story were more solid. 3/5 ⭐
