I only read about two-thirds of the stories here because I don't want spoilers for the main series, but I couldn't resist reading Tamsyn and Nate's story after @Riveted_Reader_Melissa let me know about it! It, like the other stories in the collection, is both hot and sweet.

A collection of Psy-Changeling novellas, mostly about mated pairs we already know but didn't get the story for. They were fantastic, and the first one nearly had me bawling in public.

Reading came to a screeching halt when the heroine‘s Indian friend declares herself a Hindu who believes in reincarnation and karma. Idea that 1 is reborn into a terrible life form because of sins in a past one is the caste system. By this logic, people labeled dirty and untouchable are told it‘s because of their past life sins. Do better, Nalini and other Indian writers.Don‘t savarna -wash Indian culture while earning brownie #ownvoices points 😡

So good!!! Normally the previously married/back together books are not my thing. But as usual Singh makes it all work in an amazing way. #romance #romantsy

Nalini Singh's usually hit or miss for me, but I loved this one SO MUCH! The heroine's wonderful! The hero's sweet! (Bonus points because he never chokes her to demonstrate how much he loves her, which seems to be one of Singh's authorial preoccupations.) Auckland, my favourite city in the world, feels very much like itself! Hurray!

I'll look forward to the rest of the Bishop-Esera brothers books, whensoever they appear.
