#OUABC Once Upon a Book Club November 2024 Monthly Box (The Fabric of her Life)

I feel good about my November reading. I guess hiding after the election helped my numbers as I finished 20 books including my 3 November #Roll100 + 2 more from previous months. I also finished books for #SeasonalCozies #BobWhiteBuddies ChildrensClassicRead2024 #Naturalitsy #FoodAndLit & I finished my #OUABC 40 Book challenge, met my 150 book goal on Goodreads & I‘m 1 book away from my #BOTM challenge. Favorites were: We Solve Murders, Shark ⬇️

Unfortunately my Saturday vibe is work for next week when I have manager training classes & a business review but I took myself to the coffeeshop for food & caffeination.

I also finished this lovely book of poetry from Barbara Kingsolver. I like how personal she gets & of course she excels at the nature poems. This was the last prompt I needed for my #OUABC 40 book challenge & also my ⬇️

5✨Madi‘s grandmother passed away when she was about 13. Madi dreams about the love of her lives and the only real clue in this dream is the initials JR. After a tough break up with her boyfriend, she heads to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 for a business venture. Being connected through ancestry and a mission to spread her abuela‘s ashes in her home country. This was the perfect companion on a long road trip. This is my last #OUABC until I pay off some debts.😭

3✨I was not a super fan until about the middle of the book. I would have to say her earlier years were just impulsive. However, because she grew in maturity I started to really enjoy Hester or “Diamond” as a character. Close to the end I was gutted, yet what was stated in the end to someone who was grieving while she herself was grieving was so beautiful and tied the book up nicely in the end. #OUABC

I only have 2 #OUABC books left. Preschool is expensive so I have to conserve my money. 😭 Not sure when I‘m going to use this gift, but they are pretty.
